In my own approach to learning, I find it difficult to retain ideas until I’m forced to reinforce them via experimentation or explanation.
Over my career this has left me with gaps in knowledge in areas I wished I had a more concrete grasp of, and has contributed greatly to my imposter syndrome.
I’d like to change that by starting a series of personal essays to help me better understand and fill the gaps of knowledge that are contributing to my self-doubt.
Some essays may not be literary works of perfection, but that’s not the point of this exercise.
I’m doing this in hopes that I’ll gain a better understanding of the gaps in knowledge that I personally have an interest in.
If you get something out of it as well, then that’s a wonderful side effect.
